A protest was held outside FAST Lahore by the FAST Rising Committee. Even though FAST was officially closed due to some repair work, a lot of students showed up and demonstrated their strong commitment for Dr. Afia's release It was raining but that did not deter the students. Students, accompanied by some of the faculty members protested in front of FAST and in the central Faisal Town Chowk. Their spirits were high after the fresh victory against dictatorship. They demanded the freedom of Dr. Afia and the culprits behind her 5 years illegal arrest to be prosecuted.
